Description
At least 20 passengers aboard a bus were killed and 50 others injured when the LTTE militants detonated an explosive device at Dambulla bus stand in the Matale district. The bus was to play on the Kandy - Anuradhapura road. Many Buddhist devotees on a pilgrimage to the sacred Anuradhapura city were among the dead and injured.
